Any budding geographers out there? The Royal Geographical Society run an annual competition giving "young people the chance to explore the potential that geography holds."

They say:"Although we might all be confined to our homes, and doing #geographyathome, we are asking young people to explore their wider geographical horizons by providing entries to our Young Geographer of the Year competition and explore the geography of:

'The world beyond my window'"

Ages: 6-13

Have you always wanted to time travel? If you’re aged between 6 and 13, BBC History Revealed would love you to write a postcard, pretending that you are a historical character living in a historical lockdown

Deadline: midnight 28th May
Ages: 6-18

Is your child between 6 and 18? Would they like to win up to £200 of National Book Tokens? Then they should enter the Puffin and National Book Tokens children's short story competition. Stories on the theme of 'Big Dreams' should be up to 300 words and submitted by 28th May. Six children's authors will judge the entries in 3 age categories.
