General Education Websites 6+

These are big, well resourced websites which have a range of educational resources. They either offer all, or some of, their resources for free. Although most of these are based in the UK the resources are widely applicable.

Especially good for maths and computing for all ages but other subjects at Secondary level. Note this uses the U.S. grade system but it's mostly common material.

This site is old and no longer updated and yet there's so much still available, from language learning to BBC Bitesize for revision. No TV licence required except for content on BBC iPlayer.

YouTube science and engineering channel covering lots of subjects. Aimed at ages 8+

Lots of free resources for Primary age.

Printable worksheets and online learning games, k-5 (6-11), including touch typing. Some free downloads, unlimited use requires subscription.

One of the big UK education resource suppliers has developed packs for EYFS, KS1 and KS2. The booklets ar about 100 pages but you could print part or just use the online resources.

Dorling Kindersley are known for a wide range of information books for children but you might not know that they also have a website that you can use like a giant kid-safe encyclopaedia. Called DK Find Out it has information, quizzes and videos aimed at children aged around 4-12.
